When my elder son was little, he loved a kids' TV programme called "Art Attack". In toddler-speak, that became "Artwhack". Ever since then, it's become the family word for how you feel when something creative - a song, a film, a book, a painting - has had a major effect on you. You're "artwhacked".
This will come and go. I'm not a diarist, and I like to express myself through making arthttp://clarevobrien.weebly.com/ which I hope will whack others in its turn. But sometimes I just want to write a reaction or an appreciation of something, just for its own sake - and that's what this blog is for. Hope those who read will also enjoy.
